Comprehension is about understanding the reading, paperwork, social interaction or learning a new task. Children with lower comprehension skills will have challenges in comprehending learning and more likely to experience frustration, have shorter memory span and lack of creativity.

Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is the biggest predictor of quality of life, level of happiness and degree of self-satisfaction. Emotions have an impact on learning. Children who have challenges in monitoring and regulating their emotions may encounter difficulties to attend to the tasks at hand, work carelessly, react impulsively or withdraw from classroom activities.

All children will experience stress, sometimes significant amount of it, in their lives. Stress causes cognitive impairment, inhibits memory and creates performance anxiety.
